it
is God’s sovereign rulership over a people: impacting them with his kingdom
principles, laws, morals, values, standards and purposes; thereby they manifest
or reflect the culture of heaven on earth through their lives. the kingdom of god is about the government of god over
his people, impacting them with the culture of heaven through his spirit so
that they will manifest that culture on earth through their lives – making the
earth to reflect heaven.
the
Kingdom Dominion Rulership of god is what we all need in order to control and
dominate the circumstances and challenges of life here on earth. the government
of god is universal government that rules the whole universe. it has the
supreme power to control all things both spiritual and physical. it dominates
all authority and power. all authority and power submit to god’s government.
The
Bible says…“For by him were all things
created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible,
whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things
were created by him, and for him:” Col. 1: 16
nothing
can influence the government of god, not even the government of satan. the
government of god has no term because it has no beginning and has no end. it is
from eternity to eternity. it never changes. The Bible says… “Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom
that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence
and awe.” (Heb 12:28)
Originally,
we have only one government in this planet earth and that is the government of
God or the kingdom
of light. When we say ‘kingdom
of light’, it means kingdom
of understanding which means everything in this government is full of wisdom
and understanding. No ignorance is found in this government. But when man
(Adam) fell to sin, this planet earth had two governments: the
Government of God (Kingdom of Light) and the Government of Satan (Kingdom of Darkness).
‘Kingdom of darkness’
means kingdom of ignorance. Darkness
means ignorance. This planet
earth was influenced by this kingdom
of ignorance that’s why
we became ignorant people. Ignorance doesn’t mean you know nothing… it means you
know nothing about the kingdom
of God. Ignorance means you are ignorant about the truth.
There are only two issues in this planet earth, truth and lies or ignorance and
understanding.
In
the coming of Jesus Christ, he will set up his government here on earth. And
this planet earth will experience again its original and only one government:
the Kingdom of God. Satan’s government shall be
eliminated and be overthrown into hell. How beautiful it is to live in this
planet earth with only one government: A GODLY
GOVERNMENT RULED BY GOD HIMSELF AND HIS PEOPLE.
The
Kingdom represents the heart of the general work of God on earth – everything
God says and does relates to His Kingdom – that is why the entire message of
the Bible is a Kingdom message. The prophets of the old spoke about the coming
of God’s Kingdom on earth; John the Baptist announced about the coming kingdom
of God on earth; Jesus came preached that the Kingdom has arrived; the early
disciples also preached about the Kingdom of God.
But
this message of the Kingdom is lost in our various churches; much is not being
heard about the Kingdom
of God, yet it is the
message Jesus commissioned His church to preach. Jesus Christ came to
re-introduce the Kingdom of God on earth to man and to restore
Kingdom
dominion rulership of God on earth in the hearts of men – to restore administration
of God’s Kingdom Government on earth unto mankind
as God originally planned before
the beginning of time. In eternity past, satan led a rebellion against the Kingdom of God and eventually brought the rebellion
to earth by inciting mankind to sin against God thereby man lost the Kingdom
dominion rulership of God. But through Christ, God is redeeming and
restoring His entire creatures and re-establishing His Kingdom dominion rulership
on earth in general and in the hearts of men in particular.
The
work of re-establishing, restoring and expanding the Kingdom of God
on earth has been assigned to the church – and as the church follows the great
commission in Matt. 28: 19-20, the Kingdom of God grows and expands as individuals,
families, communities, and nations surrenders to Christ as Lord – each time an
individual genuinely surrenders to Christ and His church, the Kingdom of God
expands, bringing transformation to individuals as well as to society at large.
The divine priority to the citizens of the Kingdom of God
is stated by Jesus Christ himself in Matt. 6: 33 “Seek first the King and His
Kingdom….” The pursuit of the Kingdom of God
should be the primary priority of every follower of Christ.
GOD'S KINGDOM HEADQUARTERS
The
kingdom of heaven is the location of the central
government of God wherein the head office is in heaven. The
branch office can be found on earth because the citizens of the kingdom are the “carriers” of this
government. The government is “in” them because the government of God is represented
by the Holy Spirit here on earth and the Holy Spirit is indwelling among
its citizens, therefore, the kingdom is in them. This is
far different from the earthly government because the earthly government is a
geographical kingdom and is limited only to a certain location. But the kingdom of God
is a spiritual kingdom, which means it can be in
different places in this planet earth. for example, the federal government of nigeria reaches all parts of the country but the
headquarter is in abuja – the kingdom of heaven
speaks about where the kingdom
of god originate from.
Luke 17:20-21 “Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when
the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The kingdom of God does not come
with your careful observation, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it
is,’ because the
kingdom of God is within you.” That place where the government
of God is, is fully guarded and protected by the armies of God: the angels. Any
government where its central office is, is fully protected and guarded. The
whole attention of power is focused in that place. Because once that place is
invaded, the government will collapse. So with this kingdom
of heaven, the whole power of the kingdom of God is focused on its location.
Therefore, if you are a carrier of this kingdom of God
the whole power of heaven is
focused on you. If anyone touches you, it would be better for
that person not to be born or it would be better for him to tie a stone around
his neck and be thrown into the sea as the bible says…
Luke 17:2
It would be better for him
to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around his neck than for him to
cause one of these little ones to sin.
Once
you have this kingdom
of God in you, you are an untouchable person!
You are not only untouchable but you are also a very powerful person because the whole powers and
authorities of heaven backs you.
